| Cancellation policy |
Once your relocation request is accepted, a cancellation fee applies at all times and will be charged to your credit card when you cancel, or do not show up for your booking. For cancellations made more than 48hrs ahead of pickup, a cancellation fee of $25 will be applied. Late cancellations (within 48 hours of pick-up time) will be charged $50, and no-shows will be charged $100. Cancellations must be made by logging into "My Transfercar" and selecting "Cancel trip" under the booking. Please be aware that the rental operator might have a separate cancellation fee beyond Transfercar's policy.

This is for a 12 seat minivan and trailer. A $100 credit card (no debit cards) bond is required to be paid to the rental car company at the time of confirming this booking. This is only refunded after a successful relocation where the vehicle is returned undamaged and refilled with fuel. Excess on the insurance is $2300 and hirer provides the rental company with credit card (no debit cards) details to secure this excess. (TransferCar does not share your card details with the rental car company). This excess can be reduced if the driver is over 25 years to $287.50 for the payment of $65.

Pick up is Kaikorai Valley Depot. Return is Chch Depot not airport. A $15 airport fee applies if you require a Chch Airport drop off.
