A valid and full/unrestricted driving licence issued in Australia or New-Zealand, -or- a legally confirmed English translation of your driving licence, accompanied by a valid driving licence from your country
Once the request is accepted, any cancellations must be made directly to the rental operator
AND Transfercar (in Your Trips) no later than 48 hours before pickup time, to avoid being
charged a $100 cancellation fee by Transfercar.
Note that the rental operator may also have a separate cancellation fee independent of Transfercar's
cancellation policy, that you agreed to pay when you confirmed your booking with them.

||Relocations can be returned earlier by arrangement at no charge, however no refund will be provided.
|Debit card policy
||Transfercar will not deduct any money off your credit or debit card for insurance purposes. All transactions will be made directly between the driver and the rental operator at time of pickup or via phone once the request is accepted. Please note all hirers must have a credit card or debit card, the details of which the rental operator will hold as a bond security for the excess during the driver's hire. In every case the applicable excess amount for the driver's hire will be held as an authorisation on their card, and will be released at the end of the hire. The rental operator does not accept cash for the bond. If the driver has purchased a stress-free Nil excess cover (CDW – Collision Damage Waiver) option, then a NZ$150 security deposit will be held against the driver's debit card for the duration of the hire for any incidentals. All holds on debit cards funds are automatically released upon return of the rental car if no damage or fees are owing on the hire.
