RELOCATION TERMS & CONDITIONS
This document contains a brief summary of our special conditions for relocation bookings. The full details of our rental contract do apply. Where the relocation conditions vary from the rental contract, the relocation conditions apply. Rates quoted are in New Zealand dollars.
FREE ONE WAY HIRE
There is no one way fee for relocation bookings.
Tui Campers will pay for the ferry costs of the vehicle and driver only. We will book the cheapest available ferry. Passengers other than driver travel at the renters expense.
FREE HIRE DAYS
Relocations from Auckland to Christchurch or vice versa have 4 free days in which to complete the relocation.
For relocations Auckland to Christchurch & vice versa we offer 1,500 free kilometers per relocation. Extra kms driven are charged at $0.35/km on return.
DIESEL ROAD USER CHARGES
For all diesel vehicles, the road user tax is charged at 7.20 per 100km and is charged at the end of your relcoation.
FREE KITCHEN & LIVING EQUIPMENT
Each vehicle is supplied with complimentary living equipment, cooking equipment, eating utensils, gas cooker and cooler/fridge.
DRIVERS REQUIREMENTS AND LICENCE All drivers must be 21 years of age or over and have held an unrestricted driver's licence for at least one year. The original driver's licence must be shown at the time of pick-up when the driver is present and be valid for the whole length of the rental. If the driver's licence is not in English an international driver's licence is also required.
DEPOSIT Booking will be held provisionally for 24 hours. To secure a confirmed booking by credit card (visa or master card).
For relocation bookings, the vehicles must be collected and returned to our branches (not airports). Transfers to and from the branch and airport are included in the rental price. It is the client’s responsibility to get to and from the branch other than airport.
CHANGE OF VEHICLE
For relocations, in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control rendering the booked vehicle type unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute a different vehicle type, or cancel the relocation booking and refund the renters deposit. This shall not constitute a breach of contract.
Cancellations after booking or no show for pick-up incur a $300 fee. Please note there is no refund for late pick up or early return of vehicle.
STANDARD INSURANCE LIABILITY
Standard insurance is included free of charge. The standard excess the hirer is responsible for is NZ$1500 in the event of an accident and in accordance with our Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions. The Standard Liability can be reduced by purchasing the following Reduction Options:
VEHICLE SECUIRTY DEPOSIT (BOND)
With all relocation liability options a Bond of $1500 will be collected at the time of entering into the Rental Contract. This bond is payable by an open signed credit card imprint with an authorisation obtained (sufficient funds must be available) for $1500.
